This morning, I turned on my phone as usual, but this time it was a little special: I made a video call to my mom, and she answered it by herself for the first time. She must have remembered the green call button we showed you last week.
Her smile on the screen was so warm. First she said, “I’m getting old…” and now she’s video calling her grandchildren. It was a great joy that came from a small challenge.
For our parents’ generation, digital devices still seem like a mountain to climb, but it’s beautiful to see them taking it one step at a time. Here’s to those who are starting a new challenge somewhere today.
